Once again a group of ladies were able to spend time with Jane and each other at a sewing retreat on Monterey Bay in California. Each retreat is unique and always a fun time for everyone. In addition to sewing wonderful garments, this retreat highlighted laughing, sharing life experiences, new hair styles, hiking, shopping, and just having fun and comaradery with a wonderful group of women. We cannot wait to do it again.

Elaine made this fitted shell from fabric she found in the freebie box in Jane's studio. She used the selvedge as trim and bound the edges with a Liberty print.

Most of the women took a sewing break and went to shop at Marita's for fun clothes or shoes. Janice found these really great shoes. One had a zipper at the ankle.
