Our group having lunch in the dining hall.

On a previous sewing vacation, Jasna purchased a black top in Carmel. She really liked the style, so she copied the pattern and used it to create this fabulous top. The style is so unique and so "Jasna".

She made this top using Katherine Tiltons Vogue pattern V8817.

Lark got these coordinating green fabrics from Marcy Tilton She used a black piping from Stone Mountain and Daughter Fabrics to help prevent the fabric from stretching in the vertical seams.

The back view is cute too. The pattern is Katherine Tilton's Vogue pattern V8817.

The fabric in JoAnn's coat is a silk & wool blend from EmmaOneSock, and the silk charmeuse lining came from Stone Mountain and Daughter Fabrics. JoAnn chose to use a collar style she saw in the Marfy pattern book. She looks really great in this coat.

JoAnn found the perfect buttons for her cape. The London Cape pattern was designed by Jane Foster.

Diana completed her couture jacket. She said she used a whole spool of thread for the hand sewing of the trim and the finishing steps. After a further pressing, she will be ready to enjoy wearing this jacket on many occasions.

Diana, Sharon, and JoAnn are all happy they finished their garments on this sewing vacation.

Robin made this jean jacket with Butterick pattern B5616. She had Jane tissue fit the pattern to her, and then cut it out and sewed it up. She is also wearing a tee shirt she made at a previous sewing vacation with Jane.

Barbara made an attractive top using rayon fabric from the Vogue Fabrics online catalog in Jane's studio. .

Many of Jane's students have made the Christine Jonson V Neck tee shirt pattern 714. She purchased the fabric from EmmaOneSock, and the high contrast stipes made matching a challenge. However, Barb has the skills and patience to meet the challenge and do a beautiful job.

Sally worked on a jacket and a muslin pattern for a pair of jeans.

Lark found this wonderful hand dyed fabric at a quilt show. She only had one yard, so she and Jane are draping it on her dressform and designing a look.
