JoAnn B

JoAnn is one of the most positive and happiest people I know. She has sewn with me for several years, and I know how much she loves to sew. She does beautiful machine embroidery and makes many quilts.

I appreciate that she drives a long way to come to my studio, and I love to see the garments that she makes.

Enjoy seeing her creations.

This blouse was made with Jane's Dress Form Black and White Fabric on one side, and Jane's Scissors and Reels Fabric on the other side.

JoAnn used the StyleArc Angela Pattern.

JoAnn’s beautiful kantha is made up of silk squares.

JoAnn B is wearing a tunic she made for Jane's stripe challenge. She perfectly matched the stripes down the center front.

JoAnn is happy sewing!

She finished this wonderful ensemble in time for her cruise from Japan to Alaska! The duster is cut from a kantha quilt from India made from wedding and evening saris. She made a silk noil shell and pants to wear with it, and she put the same bands on the coat.

This close up shows the fabrics used and all the stitching.

JoAnn B made this top at Jane's Sewing Retreat at the Mercy Center. Sally Baker had generously provided the paints, and screens. You can see Sally's screens on her Etsy website.

JoAnn loved this fabric she found at Mood's for her coat.

Jane, JoAnn, and Betty have fun screening fabric.

JoAnn screened the fabric, and then made it into a great tote.

Here's the tote.

JoAnn made a cute quilt for a friend’s baby. So nice to machine embroider Emily’s name on it too.

This stole was made using a Decades of Style pattern.

JoAnn loves her embroidery machine.

She brought her embroidery machine with her to Jane's Sewing Retreat at St Francis.

JoAnn made two tunics using the Saf-T-Pockets " #2016 Top Notch Tunic" pattern.

This is her second Saf-T- Pockets Topnotch Tunic.

JoAnn cuts out her first couture jacket.

Everyone had on their couture jackets at Jane's Sewing Retreat.
