Jasna J. was born in Slovenia and lived in Canada for many years. I, for one, am glad she is now in California and that I have her company all day on Mondays. She has a unique style and her skill level has progressed in leaps and bounds. She has gathered many quality sewing tools and she has a hunger for more knowledge in this craft of design and construction. Everyone loves Jasna’s quiet but determined personality, so take a look at her slideshow of garments and enjoy….Jane.

The asymmetric closing is held in place with fabulous buttons and Spanish snap buttonholes. She also made slacks with the same fabric. The finished collar has a great shape. The collar pattern is nearly a straight piece with some pleats, which means it will stand up. The textured wool plus interfacing also contribute to the shape. The wide overlap at the front of the jacket gives the collar more length than usual.
Jasna made many samples of the Spanish snap buttonholes. She used Roberta Carr's book "Couture..the Art of Fine Sewing"
