Wai M

I have known Wai for a short time but she has added her skills, expertise and energy to the studio and my retreats. She was born in Hong Kong to a family that was in the business of sewing and is a skilled needlewoman especially with her handwork. She loves fine fabrics and designer patterns so we all want to see what she is making next. I think she has maybe learned more about color choices and serging since she joined the studio. Enjoy her beautiful garments.

Wai looks so amazing in her Nova Coat (formerly called Sapporo Coat) by Papercut . The fabric is so beautiful and she used both sides to create more interest.

Wai used Vogue Couturier pattern 2041 to make this beautiful garment.

Wai made this vintage Decades of Style blouse in silk noil. The color is SO beautiful on her.

Decades of Style 1952 Wrap Blouse. The pattern is out of print.

Wai's coat is soft and light, and of course matching the plaid was the focus with Jane. She lined the coat in silk charmeuse. The pattern was Butterick B6107. It's a beautiful coat.

Wai made this designer dress and jacket out of silk by Oscar De La Renta.

Wai used an Issey Miyake pattern to make her interesting top out of silk taffeta

Kathy and Wai used the same pattern for their jackets.

Decades of Style #3006 1930's Lily jacket
