Fall Sewing Weekend with Jane Foster

Fall 2006 Sewing Weekend in Jane Foster's Studio

In the Company of Cheerful Ladies!

Vicki made a duvet cover for her daughter, and then made one for herself too.

Ellen and Jane discuss making a pillow. The center is a needlepoint made by a friend's grandmother.

Ellen framed the needlepoint in silk, and then added fringe to the edges. It was gorgeous!

JoAnn chose a Loes Hinse pattern for her top. She looked very nice in this piece.

Katherine and her husband found this silk on a trip. She made it into a tie for him for his birthday that evening!

Betty and JoAnn are sewing up a storm.

JoAnn worked on a number of garments. This is a top and skirt she made.

Vicki's attention to detail always makes her projects turn out beautifully.

Also note the beige cashmere coat on the dress form on the right. Sarah is making this marvelous coat.
