Lots of design thought went into the selection of color and fabric
placement on all the main garment pieces as well as on the details of
the jacket. Fabric matches the color of Vicki's skin, hair, and
eyes.

Cathe T just completed her Java
jacket. Jane help her choose
fabrics to be in harmony with her skin hair and eyes. Most of them
are home dec fabrics that she already had!

Carrie's java jacket features Sashiko hand
quilting. The dark green fabric is sueded rayon and is her eye color.

Janice J in her first java jacket. She recycled
a rayon dress for the sleeves and pockets.

Dobey had the green circular ribbon trimmed
fabric in her stash, and this was her starting point for
choosing other fabrics. She also made the apricot linen
shirt and the green pants to complete her outfit. We used
her harmonies as a base for her color palette.

Barbara's jacket was made from a lot of her
quilting cottons from her stash. Jane and Barbara focused on
choosing fabrics to match her eye color.
